One very simple way of reducing flying costs is to travel to Lanzarote by low cost airline from Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds/ Bradford and many more UK airports. Gatwick have a flight almost every day of the week with Easyjet. The short ferry crossing to Corralejo is a breeze. It is only a 15 - 20 minutes crossing and it is a very straightforward way of travelling even with a large family. More information "HERE".
