There are a whole host of excellent restaurants in Corralejo town, but sometimes you need some starting points. This is a list of some of our favourites where a consistent standard is usually achieved:
Avenidas Restaurant (Spanish) - bit of a walk out towards the North Shore, but worth it (find Hiperdino supermarket and just keep going towards Bristol Playa complex), closed Monday. This restaurant is outstanding in terms of the food quality and it is not expensive
La Scarpetta (Italian) - in the small precinct below the main street clock tower, just off the main street roundabout. This is exceptional food.
Slow Boat V (not to be confused with 1, 11, & 111) in the same block as the Rock Café and on the corner of the block. Large Chinese and super quality food with excellent service.
Japuir Indian Restaurant (Indian) at the start of the Avenidas Grandes Playes. Heading down the main street turn right towards the Blue Bay Palace Hotel at La Caixa Bank and it’s at the end of the locales, just before the Blue Bay.
El Andaluz Restaurant (Austrian) - walk to far end of old town and turn by Blue Rock Bar. Closed Sunday.
The Lemon Tree (British) - located directly opposite Rock Island Bar off the main street and up the side road marked by the black Vauxhall Corsa advertising Rock Island Bar. Easily the most cost effective for beautiful breakfasts and evening meals.
La Taberna (Spanish) - located directly behind Atlantic Centre. Find the main taxi rank at the Atlantic Centre. The restaurant is on the street behind this centre.
Los Caracoles (Spanish) - just off the old music square in the alleyway that leads to the rear of the Shell Garage. Closed Sunday and Mondays.
Chablis Wine Bar (British) - located just off main high street roundabout , opposite Hoplaco Gardens. The owners have been serving consistently good quality evening meals and snacks at this bar since 1992.
For the best Lavazza coffee and a bar that is hugely popular with regular visitors and locals alike, try Rogues Gallery behind Blue Rock Bar in the old town.
